Authorised security testing only. 8X Securities does not provide or encourage unauthorised access, credential theft, disruption, malware deployment or attacks against systems without permission.

1. Authorisation

All vulnerability assessment, VAPT, penetration testing, API testing, WordPress testing and active security testing must be performed against systems the customer owns or is expressly authorised to test.

2. Scope

Testing is restricted to targets and methods agreed in the quotation/SOW/rules of engagement. Out-of-scope assets will not be intentionally tested without additional authorisation.

3. Controlled Risk

Security testing may include scanning, authentication testing, controlled exploitation and validation. Customers should maintain backups, monitoring and an incident-response contact before production testing.

4. Point-in-Time Assessment

A security report reflects conditions observed during the agreed assessment window. New vulnerabilities and configuration changes can alter security posture after testing.

5. No Guarantee

Testing does not guarantee that every vulnerability will be identified or that a system will remain secure after remediation.

6. Third-Party Systems

Cloud, hosting, CDN, SaaS and other third-party environments may have testing restrictions. The customer must obtain required permissions.

7. Stop Testing

The customer may request an immediate pause through the authorised project contact. We may also pause testing where continued activity could cause material harm or exceed scope.
